The essence of slavery and capitalism is the systematic production of surplus wealth by laborers, that is owned by a few wealthy people. This is the core reason why black people remain poor while a few people become enormously wealthy.
Slavery and capitalism are economic realities, not mental projections of how people feel about themselves or other people!
When we speak of black people being slaves today, it’s because capitalism has simply refined the conditions imposed by chattel slavery while keeping the essential features.

To suggest otherwise, that people who primarily make of the laborers whose wealth is stolen, need to integrate with those who steal that wealth, showssociety hasno understanding of the problems black people face!
There can be only 1 solution to this problem, and that’s to become more active in the system. Integration does not address the question of transforming the conditions black people live in. Integration has been pushed for decades and has made the conditions of oppressed around the world worse than they were 60-70 years ago.
This is not a black American problem! Look at poor people in every country. What Nubian people suffer in America is suffered in every country by poor people. In Brazil, 5000 poor blacks are killed by police every year! That’s more than 3x the death by cops for blacks in the US. In Europe, whites are deporting black people and keeping them in slums. Black people protest in Europe as much as we do in America!
In Africa, with the help of the people somewant to integrate with, blacks are being sold as slaves to rich Arabs in the Middle East today!
It is only because capitalism rules through brutality and black people are not yet convinced they can defeat it, that this system of slavery continues.
What is needed is liberation first! Once we are liberated and our wealth no longer systematically stolen, we can integrate or not with whoever we want. At that point integration will stop being seen as the bandaid for our problems!
