Janet Jackson on Being Abused In A Marriage Of Modern Day Slavery
“In my country you’re all treated like slaves.”
The singer, Janet Jackson, gave birth to son Eissa on January 3 aged 50, after the star cancelled her 2016 world tour to focus on becoming a mother.
The couple parted ways after five years of marriage, but according to sources there’s much more to surface about their relationship.
Apparently, Janet Jackson’s sister, Latoya Jackson, was also the victim of an abusive relationship. A close source was reported to have shed some light on the matter:
“Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that their relationship was no longer working out and to go their separate ways.”
“They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart.”
“It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.”
The source went on further to add how Wissam was fascinated by black women’s alluring beauty and was reported to have mistreated the singer on occasions.
Later the source opened up further and announced a shocking revelation citing that Mr. Al Mana was reported to have bigoted views and he once said:
“In My Country You’re All Treated Like Slaves.”
Black men are still being castrated and sold into slavery in Arab countries
The singer has an eye for different men and is nortorious for getting hitched to these men, which then results in a quickie divorce. Janet and Wissam married in 2012 and was the singer’s third trip down the aisle after previously being married to fellow musician James DeBarge from 1984 to1985, and dancer Rene Elizondo Jr. from 1991 to 2000.
A potential divorce could prove quite costly as Wissam, 42, is estimated to have a fortune of around $1 billion as CEO of multinational Al Mana business conglomerate. Which is at least four times Janet’s worth.
Janet and her husband married in 2012 in a hush-hush ceremony, and it was announced earlier this year that the couple had welcomed their son Eissa.
It’s long been rumoured that Janet converted to Islam while married to her husband, but the star has never confirmed whether that was true or not.
Janet who is married to Quatari Muslim Billionaire Wissam Al Mana, disclosed that she almost committed suicide because of the restrictions and burden her new life and religion brought upon her, saying it was not an easy transformation.
She revealed that she had been deprived of almost everything in life, as she could not even listen to music, drive a car, wear designer clothes but only the ‘Black Abaya’ and could not even move outside her residential home, in Doha as she was always surrounded by heavily armed security men.
Janet said her song feat J.Cole “No Sleep” subliminally echos the tales of her marriage, citing the difficulties involved in adapting to her new life, the stress involved in being a Muslims wife and the regrets she had due to the choices she made
